Banana Bread

So I'm visiting my aunts in Texas.
Food is of abundance here, and one
thing they like to buy for me that I'm picky
about is bananas. I only eat green bananas and once they start spotting I don't find them too appetizing.
So I've eaten one banana out of a bunch.
I don't want to waste them so what better
to do then make banana bread?

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 ripe bananas, smashed

  • 1/3 cup melted butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

DIRECTIONS

You don't need to use a mixer. I stirred everything together in a bowl.

Preheat oven to 350° F

Mix butter with the mashed bananas in a large bowl

Add and mix sugar, egg, and vanilla

Slowly add baking soda and salt to mixture

Stir in the flour last

Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 loaf pan.

Bake for 1 hour

Remove from pan and enjoy :)
